Day 0 Chemo 2. Wed 8/09/2017 4:46PM "non-dairy diet, turmeric, fight, amazing family"

CHEMOTHERAPY 02

See all of us on our 100th birthday

Day 0 Chemo 2. Wed 8/09/2017 4:46PM

2nd Round of Chemotherapy
Everything went smooth today. Woke up feeling good though a bit hungry, so I made my watermelon juice and gulp 1 glass of it. Took a bath, woke up Ate Sinead. Asked help from my brother Alson to get Zac ready for school. Initially my son complained because he wanted ate Sinead to take care of him. Thus, I initiated to place Zac inside the bathroom and let my brother follow through, to finish everything. From a distance I heard them playing inside the bathroom. I was glad Papa Uncle Alson (the way Zac called my brother Alson) was back.

Together with Ate Sinead we drove to PSH. My niece (Ate Sinead) wasn't feeling that well so upon arrival at PSH she went to the washroom right away and vomited.

We proceeded to the canteen and made our order for breakfast. After I ordered my rice porridge, I saw a chemo patient and she had fruit salad with milk on it. I told her that: "We, cancer patients should have non-dairy diet all the time, eat raw veggies, and fresh fruits. Take plenty of fresh juice from organic or vegan sources. Drink a lot of turmeric so cancer cells commit suicide. I promised to myself to spread the good news on correct diet whenever possible or when opportunity arises. I wanna help other patients be healthy again, be joyful and live long and see all of us on our 100th birthday. God bless us."  I had made another impact again on someone to undergo good healing process with cancer. I am now slowly living the epitome of The site ToLiveA100Years.com. By the look of it, it is starting to fly even without being built yet or registered yet as a domain. The spirit is spreading the heat of healing. Seeds are being sown. What a wonderful scene if a lot more cancer patients would know and realized how to live healthy and aim to live that 100 years without giving up.

My best friend Dr. Roselyn Yu, texted me confirming if today was my 2nd chemo day. She wanted to accompany me so I texted back to her that it would usually be around past noon time or 1:30PM. Unlucky for her, the whole thing finished early at around 11:59AM, so I texted her again that maybe she could make it next time around.

My other 2 good friends Dr. Ma. Christina Aban and Dr. Cytesse Cambronero greeted "Hi" to me while I was at the chemo unit.  I was full of energy encouraging everyone beside me that: "As long as we are breathing fine, we will go through all these. Fight, fight, fight! Just follow all our doctors' advise and live a healthy lifestyle and be fully cured. You are all invited on my 100th birthday." The pep talk just created a vibrant resonance from everyone. All were laughing.

After the chemo, I was waiting for my sister Rabbi and Ate Sinead who would be bringing for my non-dairy ice-cream. I was so excited about it because it was really delicious as if there was milk on it. The flavor I had was vanilla which I love so much, though it did not last long because the cup was just too small. Finishing quite fast I tried tasting Ate Sinead's choco flavoured non-dairy ice-cream. It turned out, I disdained the taste because, it was just like the taste of "champorado" (cacao flavoured rice porridge). I like champorado but not on my ice-cream. Rabbi on the other hand said that her dark choco flavor was good. But too late for me it was finished and I did not have the chance to taste it.

My onco came and I told her I had eaten non-dairy ice-cream. She then reprimanded me to brush my teeth 'coz she would kill me if I would have tonsilitis. Harsh!  I knew it was a joke but with some truth in it. I then retorted to her that: "I drank green tea with lemon on it to wash it off."

We passed by Federova Bridal Fashion Boutique 'coz I needed to rent a gown for Dr. BB Tiu's daughter's birthday debut this coming August 27, 2017, 7 days after my birthday.

Everybody (my sister Rabbi, Ate Sinead) was excited to reach home 'coz they were bringing healthy lunch for them, from the Echo Store in Banilad, Cebu City. My brother also at home prepared "Bisayang" (native) chicken soup for me. We all had a hearty delicious healthy lunch. Even my brother ate lunch with us again. I said thank you several times to my brother Alson, my sister Rabbi, my niece Ate Sinead and even my sister-in-law Lea, 'coz she was enjoying the brown rice and the viand as well as cleaned the electric fan for me.

Amazing, joyful family bonding over a late lunch. My Guardian Angel reminded me again: “Every storm has its end. Every upheaval there will always be calmness afterwards. We just need to always look forward to it during the times  when we are rocking with the turbulent sea. And that I have an amazing family after all.”

I have to go, Ate Sinead is calling me 'coz the teleseries "Wild flower" is starting already.
